Abstract
A topological space is called a rectifiable space if there exist a homeomorphism and an element such that and for every we have where is the projection to the first coordinate. Then, is called a rectification on and is a right unit element of . Recently, rectifiable spaces have been studied by many authors and they have raised many open questions that still remain unanswered. In this article, we prove that if is a compact subset and is a closed subset of a rectifiable space such that then there exists an open neighborhood of such that . Moreover, we give two other properties related to rectifiable subspaces. These serve as bases for us to obtain a result in [1].
