Abstract
The twenty-first century is the century of all countries which have the sea. Exploiting marine resources to develop sea economics becomes the vital demand of national development. Danang is a coastal city in the Southern Central Region of Vietnam. Located in the middle of Vietnam, this city has a good condition for the formation of natural and economic characteristics as well as the national and international cooperation. The coastline of Danang extends 30 km from the Hai Van in the north to the Mable Mountain in the south. In some areas, the mountains extend directly into the sea. This creates a number of protected harbors which are suitable for shipping, including those of the port city of Da Nang, such as Lien Chieu, Tien Sa… The mountains also forms a picturesque backdrop; and beaches at Da Nang are among the most popular resort areas in the country. Therefore, Danang has many advantages to improve sea industries such as marine transport, exploiting marine products, marine tourism…Sustainable developing of sea industries is one of the most important strategies of Danang to exploit marine resources reasonablely and effectually to serve the aims of Danang’s economic – social development.
