Abstract
The development of a competency-oriented curriculum requires teachers to have the ability to design competency assessment tools. The paper proposes the structure of designing competence assessment tool for pedagogy students. Based on the literature review, combined with the consultation of some experts, the study proposes the elements and behavioral indicators of designing competence assessment tools. Investigations and experiments on physics students at Hanoi National University of Education provide an experimental basis for the study. This article presents a case of using this model in the training of designing competence assessment tools for physics pedagogy students.
