SECRETS BEHIND CHINA’S ECONOMIC GROWTH: CHANGES IN IDEOLOGICAL PARADIGMS

Abstract

More than four decades have passed, but the world is still surprised at the great achievement of China’s economic growth. What is the hidden truth behind that miraculous development? In order to explain this phenomenon, the author of this article chiefly bases her view on a new angle - Ideology, namely the changes in ideological paradigms from “dogmatizing Marxism”, “Class struggle as credo”, “Revolution cult”, "Stalin model" to “Liberating ideology, seeking the truth wholeheartedly”, “Economic construction as the focus”, “Open-door reform”, “Chinese model”. The new ideological paradigms are in line with the world's development trend, representing the interest and aspiration of the entire Chinese people. Under the guidance of the new ideology paradigms, the Chinese people have been unanimously united to overcome all difficulties and limits in terms of capital, resources, management, etc. to achieve the goal of accelerating the economy.
