Abstract
Scientific discovery activities provide chidren with knowledge about their surrounding environment as well as facilitate the formation of social skills, especially the negotiation skill, which helps them handle problems in their daily life so that they can live in harmony with other people. By synthesizing ideas from collected documents, the author of this research has established a set of criteria for evaluating children’s negotiation skill in their scientific discovery activities, which served as a base for conducting an investigation into the negotiation skill of children aged 5-6 years in their scientific discovery activities at some kindergartens in Da Nang city. The results of this investigation lay the foundations for proposing measures to develop children’s negotiation skill in further researches.
