Abstract
Moral education means the education of human attitude, proper manners and behaviour towards the surrounding phenomena in life. Moral education plays an important role in forming primary bases of children’s personalities. This is a demand of special importance from the family and the society, a basis and motivation for cultivating children’s proper attitude and self-discipline. In this paper, based on the authors’ conception of the origin of each kind of fruits and flowers in the real life, we study the moral education lessons for children drawn from the collection The Stories of Fruits and Flowers such as lessons on how to behave towards family members, friends, teachers and students, lessons on one’s a sense of responsibility for one’s homeland as well as lessons on one’s sense of self- responsibility.
