PARENTS' SATISFACTION WITH THE QUALITY OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION SERVICES IN DANANG CITY

Abstract
The study’s objective is to determine the level of parents' satisfaction with the quality of educational services at preschools in Danang City. The study uses the survey method by surveying 580 parents whose children are studying at nursery schools in the city on the following aspects related to the educational service quality: (1) responsiveness to information, teachers, and programs; (2) financial expenses; (3) facilities and equipment; (4) specific support of schools for parents, and (5) general satisfaction with the quality of education. The results show that parents are appreciate educational service quality highly and quite satisfied with preschool education quality. The informative response, teachers and educational programs, and educational expenses reach a high level of parents’ satisfaction. Meanwhile, parents' satisfaction with facilities and specific support witness a lower level. There is no significant difference in the level of assessment of educational service quality and satisfaction among children's parents by gender and by type of school, but there is a significant difference by the educational level of children's parents.
