Abstract
By utilizing mythopoeic thinking as a literary device to conquer/explore the surrealistic world, short stories by Ta Duy Anh bring readers to various boundaries of the life flow, whereby mythological factors in the restructured semiotic mechanism, which have been constructed from different semantic macrostructures, have provided discourse authority for the subjectivity forming in fields of aesthetic spaces. There, they appear as some atypical representation, which combines both realistic and surrealistic components of each subject’s spiritual depth. This proves that mythopoeic thinking has become a critical substance in the genesis of aesthetic patterns, and transformed them from consciousness to unconsciousness, evoking the mythologization of subjectivity. From this creative point, short stories by Ta Duy Anh have made certain innovations for the power institution of the art fate.
