SPECIES COMPOSITION AND DISTRIBUTION OF EARTHWORMS ALONG ALTITUDE IN THE SOUTH OF HAI VAN PASS AND BA NA MOUTAIN NATURE RESERVE

Abstract

23 species of Earthworms belonging to 4 families and varieties have been defined. Ba Na Moutain Nature Reserve has been inspected and considered to be the home of 17 species and 17 species has also been announced in Hai Van Pass. There are 11common species in the two areas. The factor of Indochina geographical zoology is prominent. The dense distribution of earthworms is mainly at the altitude of under 200m and over 1000m. At first, it is proposed to choose the species of earthworms used in soil and bald hill improvement in the research areas.
