THE MORPHOLOGICAL VARIATION OF THE SPECIES OF EARTHWORM PHERETIMA ROBUSTA (PERRIER, 1872)

Abstract

Based on the analysis of the earthworm samples in provinces in Vietnam which are currently stored at the center for researching land animals, Hanoi University of Education I, the level of variation in external structure of the species of earthworm Pheretima robusta has been identified. Accordingly, it is determined that there are 4 types of morphology. The research result helps visualize the trend and level of variation in morphological characteristics, which aims to serve the process of classifying earthworms correctly.
