Abstract
Buddhism moved in Vietnam very early and participates in the building process of the traditional culture of Vietnam. Based on its spirit, the educational target of Buddhism is to develop a person in both intellect and morality, which is a harmonical and balanced development between material and mind by which put forward a basis for the development of the individual as well as society. The government of Vietnam always consider education is one of the most important factors in socio-economic development. In the last few years, the Vietnamese education system ceaselessly approaches experiences from the progressive educations on the world. However, the values of developing traditional culture are also necessary, and Buddhism's point of view about education is a suggestion which needs to be considered in.
