Abstract

Uong Trieu’s Solitary novel is narrated accordingly to a gaming phraseology. It’s readers who are encouraged to read and then analyze the lingua. The novel should not be perceived as easily as in ordinary readings, but the readers usually have to connect or relate between the happening events and characters. Interestingly, the readers are partaking in the Solitary as one of the characters. They develop the plot (the sequence of events in the novel) that the author’s schemes might be unveiled. Trying to understand the reading itself, the reading attitude of either real readers or potentinal readers, or the reading characters is the best way to explore Uong Trieu’s novel.
