SOME EXPERIENCE IN TRAINING GENERAL EDUCATION TEACHERS IN THE WORLD AND ORIENTATION FOR APPLICATION IN THE CURRENT SITUATION OF VIETNAM

Abstract
Teacher training is a key issue that plays a decisive role in the success of general education renovation. Based on an overview of some models for training general education teachers in some countries with outstanding achievements in education such as Singapore, Finland, Germany, Japan, South Korea, etc. and an analysis of the current situation in Vietnam, the article puts forward some solutions for application to improve the general education teacher training model which is aimed at meeting the country’s requirements of teaching and learning with an orientation toward competence development.
