TRADITIONAL MUSIC ART IN QUANG NAM - DA NANG

Abstract

Quang Nam - Da Nang traditional music is characterized by the traditional music art of Vietnam as well as of the Orient. Overcoming the challenges of space and time, types of traditional music in Quang Nam - Da Nang still retain their own unique and original features, which are the precious assets of the intangible cultural heritage preserved and handed down by generations of ancestors. It is highly urgent for both the cultural sector and the whole society to take responsibility for preserving and promoting the values of this traditional kind of music. This article focuses on clarifying the identity and values of the traditional music art in Quang Nam - Da Nang, and at the same time, proposes some solutions to preserve and promote the values of this traditional music art.
