AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION TO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE FLIPPED CLASSROOM MODEL

Abstract
The development of Information Technology (IT) and the popularity of the Internet help to change patterns of teaching and learning in schools and educational institutions. In countries with developed education, teachers often make videos of lessons for students to study in advance at home; class time is reserved for discussing, answering questions or learning advanced contents. This is called the Flipped Classroom model. In Viet Nam, the Flipped Classroom has been implemented in a number of educational institutions and brought back satisfactory results. However, obstacles in technology infrastructure prevent this model from being replicated. In this article, we present an overall IT solution that we have developed for the Flipped Classroom model. This solution, which is a finished product, has been put into practice. In June 2015, it was used by Microsoft and ASUS companies as a main installation in SmartBook devices.
