Abstract
Today when arriving in the land of O Mon - Can Tho, it seems not too many people know Chau Van Liem - an elite figure on this contempt land. Mostly when mentioning Chau Van Liem, everyone knows him as the first generation of O Mon that had a seamless combination of traditional patriotism of the ancient O Mon and sense of class struggle for the very first time when Vietnam had the leadership of the Party.Yet, few people know him as a revolutionary poet. It seems that for Chau Van Liem, writing poems is a form of struggling for national independence and way to react to the effects of the hot issues of the country as well as the display of the anxiety, concern in his heart about the great events of the nation. Besides, poetry is also an indispensable way in the campaign to persuade the masses to stand up to fight for the country's independence ... Therefore, discovering Chau Van Liem as a poet is also a way to depict the short but active life of revolutionary activities of this brave and young soldier.
