Abstract
The article is about the difficulties in studying faced by students at Vietnam Buddhist University in Ho Chi Minh city. Research results showed that there were many factors leading to difficulties in studying faced by students, of which the external factors were the most influential ones (e.g. curricula, learning contents, learning materials, financial capability). This suggests that students have recognized the role of themselves in overcoming the difficulties and trying to get the best result. In terms of courses, there is a significant difference in difficulties in studying between students from course 8 and 9. On the basis of this situation and the explanation of causes, this paper proposes a number of suggestions to help students overcome the problems.
