Abstract
The article is for the purpose of surveying the situation of original materials usage (FGDs) through a survey undertaken by lecturers in two language-training institutions in the Central region. The survey is done with a questionnaire built on the basis of theory and research questions. The questionnaire consists of two main parts. The first part is information related to individual who answers the questionnaire. The second part is to understand the actual use of FGDs in teaching foreign languages, which refers to the contents such as the usage of information about the use of information, the use of FGDs, difficulties and advantages in using FW. Descriptive and deductive statistical analyses allow clarification of the characteristics of using RWs in the reality of teaching foreign languages and the impact of a number of factors such as the language being taught, experience, local, academic learning position, working position on this use.
