Abstract
In conclusion, talent recommendation was a policy commonly used by Vietnamese feudal dynasties, as well as the talent recruitment examinations; in order not to miss talented people who for some reasons didn’t take the exams and led a secluded life. During the Nguyen Dynasty, this policy was used quite effectively by which many talented people to be named as Nguyen Dang Tuan, Than Van Quyen, Phan Huy Chu, and Nguyen Tri Phuong was recommended. This policy with its advantages and drawbacks will open up useful experiences for current staff management.
