REDESIGNING FOLK GAMES - A DIRECTION TO DIVERSIFY TEACHING GAMES AT PRESCHOOLS

Abstract
The article mentions the issue of folk games redesign for preschoolers. The results of surveying on 200 preschool teachers showed that (although the teachers had had great concerns about the necessity of redesigning folk games for preschoolers) they were aware of the necessity of redesigning folk games for preschoolers, they rarely did it. The principles and procedure in redesigning folk games and specific examples in the article will help preschool teachers get (have) an effective approach in redesigning and using folk games to preserve the national cultural values and improve the quality of education at kindergarten.
