HUMAN RESOURCES FOR MARINE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN DA NANG CITY

Abstract

Danang is the largest port city in Central Vietnam, with much potential and favourable conditions for the overall development of its marine economy. Among them, human resources have always been regarded as an important drive, a key issue, a basic element in Da Nang’s socio-economic development strategy in general and marine economy in particular. However, Da Nang’s marine economy is facing the risk of human resources shortage in both quantity and quality. This article presents the necessity of developing human resources for the marine economy of Da Nang, thereby evalutating the status quo of human resources and training of human resources for the city’s marine economy over the past time and proposes some feasible solutions to the development of quality human resources for the marine economy of ​​Da Nang city.
