Abstract
Changing the form of education from the acadamic year system to the credit system is a significant evolution to meet the demand of the society. As a result of this, the innovation of teaching methods in the credit training system is aimed to improve university education quality. Following the pioneer steps of The University of Danang in implementing the credit system in training from 2006, the Faculty of Geography has been putting a lot of efforts in reforming curriculum, editing teaching materials, and changing teaching methods to meet the requirements of the new training system. Some initial results have been achieved. Within the scope of this article, I only mention some initial experience on teaching method renovation to improve training quality, which we have gained from the course of five years of applying credit training system in the Faculty of Geography – University of Education – Da Nang University.
