Abstract
Han Mac Tu was a poet who left a stamp of his creative personality in the New Poetry movement. His collection of poems entitled Dau thuong was a vivid illustration. It was no longer built up on such a lyrical romantic land as Gai que but led to the symbolic world - a world of unconsciousness, conception and mysterious spirit. In the journey to find himself, Han Mac Tu was able to quickly overcome the way of expressing the self-consciousness ego of romanticism in Gai que to enter drastic self-reproduction and to integrate into the innermost mysterious corner of the heart, of the unseen world and the destiny force in Dau thuong. As a result, the lyrical ego in Dau thuong was structured by polarization and multifaceted features. With his revelation power, the poet emancipated the essence through his strange dreams manifesting a spiritual universe of mysteriousness and transcendence.
