SOME STRIKING POINTS OF OVERSEA VIETNAMESE PROSE AFTER 1975

Abstract

As for the Vietnamese people who live in foreign land, it’s the culture – literature as an effective means of communication which helps them convey their intimate feeling to the native land. Being haunted by the past, guilty about the immigration status and aspirations for confluence and integration, etc. were always imprinted in expatriate writers’ composing. Through the survey on some striking points of oversea Vietnamese prose after 1975, it is expected that this article will provide a suitable approach orientation for readers.
