Abstract
In the world as well as in Vietnam, markets always play an important role in all aspects of people's lives. For the residents of Da Nang, besides other big markets, Han market contributes significantly to the development of the city. Such contribution is not only recognized at present but was also shaped under the Nguyen lords and kings. If its former role was mainly limited to trade and the collection of goods from merchant ships, Han market has now prevailed over the function of commodity exchange, becoming a facilitator for tourism development. Coming to Han market, visitors can experience a wide variety of tourism, discover and explore many different aspects of the land that are not always available in other tourist places.
