THE SONG DA REVOLUTIONARY BASE IN THE ANTI-AMERICAN WAR

Abstract

This paper describes the formation, organization of acticvities, and the promotion of the role of the Song Da on-the-water revolutionary base during the anti-american war, shown in the political, military and economic aspects. Through that, the author remarks on the activeness, flexibility, creativeness, and uniqueness of the Vietnamese Communist Party (CPV) Committee of Danang City in applying the policy of Central CPV in developing revolutionary bases in the urban area of Danang City, the lesson of winning people’s heart, and the contribution of the Song Da on-the-water revolutionary base in the forming of siege to overwhelm directly the headquarters of the enemies at the Danang military base.
