QUESTIONS IN THE INTERVIEW WORK IN DA NANG NEWSPAPER

Abstract

An interview article is a dialogue between the journalist and the interviewee about a current affair or a person of public interest through a set of questions and answers. Based on the language in question and the information in the question, it can be divided into basic forms: closed questions, open questions, check questions, and critical questions. When researching the newspaper interview work published in Da Nang Newspaper in 2017 & 2018, we found that open and test questions appeared with high frequency and high level; while closed and critical questions appeared less. Some questions were stereotypical and lengthy. The article also gives some suggestions for improving the quality of interview article in order to attract the attention of readers.
