Abstract
Humankind raises the question about how the South African society in the era of Apartheid transition took place. Was it the same as what we had been seen in the speeches of Western politicians, or was it a lie of imperialist, colonial doctrines? Our article makes out the answer through Age of Iron by John Maxwell Coetzee. (It is hopeless that the author couldn’t restore to the former political and social situation in South Africa in the late 20th century and ealy 21th century. However, via the issues raised by the Nobel laureate in 2003,) Not hoping to restore South Africa's political and social situation in the late twentieth century and early twentieth first century’s years, but through the issues raised by the Nobel laureate in Literature in 2003, the article will generalize the tragedy of both white people and black people in the Apartheid era: the tragedy of exile, dispersed condition, being despised... There was a violent atmosphere of the war behind.
